Based out of London, Mr. Morjaria serves as a partner focused on private equity in emerging markets and comes to Industry Capital with 25 years’ experience gained across investing and fund management in the emerging markets private equity arena. Mr. Morjaria has held several key positions in deal-making, portfolio and fund management, capital raising/fund closings, part of the investment committees and helping build asset management platforms of the UK's CDC Group which spun out Aureos Capital which he was a founding partner, the Abraaj Group (which acquired Aureos), and LGT Group which is owned by the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation. He has operated across growth markets of LatAM, Africa and Asia, with in-country roles in sub-Saharan Africa and China. Mr. Morjaria holds a BA (with Honors) in Economics from University of Essex and is a CFA Charterholder.
