Mr. Pursnani is the CEO of Konexa which is Industry Capital's lead platform based out of London and Kano, Nigeria focused on rebuilding power distribution systems across Africa with the mission to provide reliable, affordable and sustainable energy for all households and businesses in areas which we develop and operate distribution and embedded generation assets. Prior to joining Konexa in 2019, Mr. Pursnani was the Deputy Director of the Shell Foundation in London having overseen over 70 portfolio companies from Africa to India. Before transitioning to the foundation, he worked in the international corporate strategy group at the Shell Corporation. Before his career at Shell, Mr. Pursnani worked in various roles in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and new market development for British Petroleum. He holds a BA from the European Business School, an MSc from the Vermond Business School and is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant.
